There are two ways to add a new contact. The first is to click on arrow near by button New and select Contact...
A second way is to right click on the Contacts panel then select New Contact.
This tab is divided into several parts.
You can set full name of contact by click on button Full Name...This window will show:
You can fill the boxes with information about your contact.
Enter the contact's job position E.g. Financial Consultant.
Enter the name of the company this contact works for.
Enter a name you wish the contact to be shown in your contact list, doesn't necessarily have to be his or her full name.
You can enter up to three different Email addresses for the contact, you can also select one of the three E-mail and set as the Contact's primary E-mail address in the Select Primarymenu.
The display name for the contacts emails address will provide a way to identify the E-Mail in the case the email address does not contain any distinguishing identifiers.
Many types of phone numbers can be filled. You can change the type of numbers by click on buttons Work, Home, Fax, Mobile and select another types.
If contact has a personal web site, enter it here.
You can change the type of address by click on button Business and select another type of address.
Most of the fields on the Details tab are straight forward, except the Calendar Information Discovery panel which contains some fields of interest.
Freebusy URL: Part of calendar service. Can contain the contact's daily schedules, helpful when arranging events with this contact.
Calendar URI & Calendar Request URI: These are web locations to which calendar requests are sent. This is handled by eM Client automatically, only in rare cases need to be filled in manually.
Press Add... to add any files relevant to this contact. Any image, power point, document files that are related to the person or his work can be added to the Attachments tab.
Here in this tab you can import, select and set default security certificates to be used for communications with this contact. Certificates received in the incoming mails from this contact will be automatically store here too.

Here you can link this contact to his or her instant messaging account. Click Add... to link as many IM accounts as he or she uses.
You can add several types of IM as jabber, ICQ, skype etc. Click on button Add to add IM. This window will be shown.
You can select several types of IM Services:
Choose the account to which you wish to add the new IM contact.
If it is checked, contact will be add to your jabber.
You have to fill the information about contact - the jabber ID, ICQ number, skype name etc.
If you have selected contact, you can click on button Remove and this contact will be removed.
If you have selected contact, you can click on button Profile and window with contact's profile will be opened.
You can write a note about your contact.
This contact will be save and new window will be opened.
This contact will be save and the window will be closed.
Contact won't be saved and window will be closed.
